Unnatural but wild: how humans have reshaped fire in the American West

In January, I gave a talk at the Bountiful-Davis Art Council exhibit on wildfire in Utah. After a year that obliterated wildfire records throughout the West, I thought it was important to give some scientific context on this issue that is incredibly important and perhaps not surprisingly politically charged.
